Northeast Greenland National Park is pristine country for most. Therefore, we are also extra proud that we are after long-term planning, can finally put the ultimate kayaking up. A tour where we fly into to Daneborg, Sirius Patrol Headquarters. Here we put the kayaks in the water and drainage south, through the stunning scenery, we pass many areas where there are many kinds of birds, walruses, seals, musk oxen, etc. We will live in history from the Eskimos' many old settlements, remnants of World War II, and we may follow catch man huts throughout Towards Mestersvig, including visiting the Ella Island en route where Lauge Kock do surveys from Jørn Riel, was inspired by his tales.

A trip of about 400 km, where we must go on nature and weather terms, we must experience the magnificent scenery, wildlife and each other's company.

The tour is a unique adventure, you get the chance to experience ushering in life. Therefore, we also provide requirements for preparation, participation in the preliminary meeting, packaging, etc. But we promise you too a fairytale world.

Severity:

There is no reason to underestimate the physical challenge. It demands much of you as a person. Regular training and positive attitude needed to cope with several days in the kayak.
Your Adventure offers drafting of a physical preparation program towards departure.
Good humor and positive attitude are key words. Together we must prepare ourselves for what we can meet and prepare ourselves for a tough day. This is where group dynamics come into play. We get all bad days, but from experience we know that all is forgotten under the hot shower.

There is no requirement for specific kayaking evidence but it not a trip for the beginner in kayaking. It is an assessment of the wizards in your adventure, whether people are good enough.

Equipment:

KTC / Your Adventure stands for all common equipment, tents, primus, safety equipment, double folding kayaks, etc. We sail trimmers Double Kayaks, due to transportation of equipment, and due to safety and pace. We have many open junctions and nature can be violent, so your adventure / KTC weighs about security, so this election.

On this trip we have many demands on the personal equipment. Personal equipment list is sent out upon registration. Before the tour we will review thoroughly equipped with every participant, so you are sure you have the gear as the trip requires.

Security.

KTC / Your story brings navigation equipment, GPS, emergency locator transmitter, satellite phone, medicine bag for major and minor injuries, and security equipment and more.
Furthermore, we seek to authorize the National Park and seek to obtain the required extended travel insurance which covers the collection of serious injury / illness, etc..

Trip preparation:

We spend much time in preparation for the trip. We emphasize education of participants and development of the group. As a participant you must be the most important skills before we get to Greenland, and be an active part of the group.
We offer a meeting in Denmark where we operate a ride in the kayaks, and talks about touring and safety, security and safety.

Climate:

At the end of July is ice, but we can still enjoy ice cream. August the summer months in Northeast Greenland, it's all here flowers, there are many migratory birds. The temperature may vary a lot from minus to nice plusgrejer but night frosts can easily occur. Usually it is dry, but rain and snow can occur. So be clear on some of each.

The water is always cold, so the drysuit required.

Accommodation:

On our travels to and from Greenland We live in a hotel. But from the time we landed until we fly home we live in a tent.

Touring program.

Day 1-2

We meet in Copenhagen and shrimp over the Island with an overnight stop.

Then flown to Constable Point, where kayaks and gear waiting, we quickly load the plane and then fly on to Daneborg (Sirius headquarters.)

Here we manage our equipment and piping a short trip and finds the tenant.

Day 3-4

We row quietly away, get your body in time and talk everything through security again.

We intend to see walruses already the first day.

Day 5-24

We row out there in the group's pace, we must adapt our way once the tide, wind and weather. So we can go days or once during the trip, since it is light all day anyway.

We visit numerous historical sites we visit Glave Ring Island and see the remains of Resolut Hovedkarter from WWII, the Germans burned down. We see the place where the Eskimos last been seen in 1833.

We sail down through Lock Fyne Inlet, where there are always many musk oxen, here we carry everything around. 5 km to Moskusoksefjord. From here we sail towards Ella Island and visit a lot of Catch's huts, which has a glorious history as we're talking about under way.

We are looking to get time to go for a walk, look at animals but we also come to rest far when the weather permits.

We sail from nature and the weather conditions.

We will explore the nature that will dazzle us.

We intend to quit Mestersvig where we take care of things and fly to Constable Point, where we pack everything for repatriation.

Day 25-30

Reserve day for bad weather, rest days, etc.

Day 30-31

We fly from Constable Point to Iceland, where we stay overnight before flying to Copenhagen. How to thank for this time.
